Fall Foliage Day 1-day Bike Tour: Our goal is to find the best bike tours and rides to enjoy the changing colors in Rocky Mountain National Park and around the Front Range (Mountain or Road). Bike Tours average around 4-5 hours. $125 per person, 2-person minimum. Price includes expert local guide/educator, acess Boulder to Rocky Mountain National Park or other area, park pass ($10 pp), snacks, and water. Contact us about groups discounts. Bike Rental is $35 per day.
For this tour, we depart Boulder in the early morning and travel into Rocky Mountains west and northwest of Boulder. We then spend approximately 5 hours biking to the best spots for viewing the aspen groves and willows in their wonderful fall colors.
September-October is a special time in the mountains with the changing season and the transition of fall colors in the trees. Our focus will be on finding the best bike tours to see the beautiful array of colors that make Colorado spectacular in the fall. Biking distances and difficulties will be chosen based on overall group abilities and fitness levels. In addition to seeing the flora (trees and plants), there will be opportunities to see wildlife, as this is also elk bugling season. The goal of our guided bike tours is to provide a safe and educational experience not found in a guidebook.
The route for the biking day will be determined based on group desires, fitness levels and preference for mountain or road biking. There are numerous options for both types of biking that allow participants to obtain great views and travel through beautiful scenery. Our goal is to find a perfect blend of challenge, difficulty, exertion, and enjoyment.
