Sightseeing:

We offer sightseeing trips from the Boulder Area to Estes Park and into Rocky Mountain National Park.

We have designed two set itineraries to maximize seeing the best views and wildlife in Rocky Mountain NP from a vehicle.

1) Day Tour of Rocky Mountain National Park highlights: Trailridge Road, Bear Lake, and Moraine Park. 8 hours.

This loop tour allows you to travel along one of the highest motorable roads in the United States. From the grassy meadows, we drive to the top of the Continental Divide, seeing some of the best vistas, lakes, wildflowers, and wildlife the park has to to offer along the way. $98 per person.

2) Fall Foliage Sightseeing Tour: This is a 6-9 hour tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. We will seek out the best spots to see the changing colors and elk, while learning about the history of Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park. Cost is $98 per person, 2-person minimum, 14-person maximum. Price includes educator, access Boulder to Rocky Mountain National Park, park pass ($10 pp), drinks, snacks, shuttle library. Rocky Mountain National Park Day Tour

3) Afternoon sightseeing during Elk bugling (mating) season. 2-8 pm. Rocky Mountain NP is famous for its Elk who mate during September and October.

During the September-October mating season, bull elk stage their ritualistic mating calls and sparing for the attention and mating rites of female cows. The characteristic rutting call of bulls can be heard from just before dusk to dawn.
